And we don’t navigate them alone. We want to have fun together making memories, build friendships that last, and grow in love and knowledge of Jesus together.
On a Sunday morning Pathfinders spend time together in their own group session, with Bible teaching from their leaders. They also play games, chat and catch up.
Once a half term we invite our youth to The Gathering: a Bristol-wide youth event. With games, a Bible talk, discussion opportunities and singing, it’s a great reminder that we’re a part of something bigger than just Emmanuel.
One80 stays in the Sunday gathering with the adults from our church families.
Once a week One80 gets together for food, plenty of catch-up time, games and some time looking at the Bible together.
There are regular socials organised by the leaders, ranging from games nights, craft, bowling and much more.
Once a half term we invite youth to The Gathering, 7:30-9pm at various locations. This is a Bristol-wide youth event where we all play games, hear a Bible talk, have lots of discussion opportunities and sing together. It’s a great reminder that we’re a part of something bigger than just Emmanuel.
All volunteer leaders go through a robust recruitment process including safeguarding training and a DBS check. Please see our safeguarding policy for more details.
Lottie Grover oversees the One80 team across the family of churches, and she and Adam lead the Emmanuel Westbury Pathfinders group. Emmanuel Bishopston’s Pathfinders is led by Jon and Nicola Turley.
