Join a Team
Church is like a family meal, not a restaurant
That means serving each other, rather than expecting others to serve us.
That can happen in all kinds of ways – depending on your gifts, skills and capacity. And you don’t need to be an expert: if you join a team, we’ll train you up.
Below are a selection of some ways in which you can serve. If there’s another way you’d like to use your time and skills, let us know.
Kids
We love having kids as part of the church family. We have a team who lead kids group sessions on a Sunday. All go through a robust safeguarding process to serve in this way.
Youth
There are two teams (Pathfinders and One80) who serve our youth across the family of churches on Sundays and at regular events during the week. All go through a robust safeguarding process to serve in this way.

Set-up
We wouldn’t be able to meet together without the set-up team, who serve the church by importantly setting up all that we need and then pack it all down afterwards.

Office
Some of the most vital work goes on behind the scenes. Some within the church help out by serving in the office doing a variety of important admin tasks. There are also teams that help in practical ways looking after our churches.
Social action
God calls us to look after those who are suffering. So, in many practical ways we look to encourage people to serve their community and share the good news of Jesus through it.
