On a Sunday we begin our church service with everyone together. We will have moments to engage the children – whether a kids slot, child-friendly prayers, songs the children are familar with or sharing some news for the whole church.
After 15 minutes, children and young people from 0-14 go out to age-appropriate kids’ groups in the hall. They return just before the end of the service.
Every other month, we host an all-age service in which all children except for the very youngest remain in the service throughout.
Everyone who volunteers with children and young people has been through our Safer Recruitment process (including DBS checks) and receives regular safeguarding training.
Led by Izzy and Victoria and a team of volunteers, Scramblers begins with a period of free play, followed by a snack, Bible story, related craft and singing.

Led by Jon and Nicola and a team of volunteers, the Sunday Pathfinders session involves games, Bible study and group work. Pathfinders usually follows the central sermon series so our young people are learning the same as the adults.
