Sundays
Gathering is good
We meet every Sunday at 4pm at Redmaids’ High School.
When we gather we sing, pray and listen to a talk from the Bible. There is a Q&A time where you can put questions to the person who has been preaching.
There are groups for children, youth and students.
What to expect
What happens during a service?
We want our time together to reflect the good news of Jesus. So, we typically begin with a few songs and a moment of confession. There’s no obligation to join in. The children then go to their groups for about 45 minutes. Those remaining in the main hall hear a short section of the Bible read and then explained by the preacher. After that, we have a question-and-answer session, where those listening can ask the preacher questions about the talk. Questions are asked anonymously via Slido.
Children return at this point and then – together – we share news about what’s coming up in the next few weeks and sing a final song.
After the service ends, children often run around on the lawns outside whilst others catch up over a cup of tea or coffee.
What should I do if I have a question?
You can either get in touch with us in advance by emailing us here admin@emmanuelbristol.org.uk or chat to anyone wearing a “Welcome” lanyard – they’ll be able to help you with your question or point you to someone who can.
Is there parking onsite?
Yes.
