Students
Welcome to Bristol
If you are a student we’d love for you to be part of our church family.
Emmanuel Westbury is a friendly church where we want students to grow in their love and knowledge of God and know how valued they are within God’s church.
We’d love to get to know you!
Fill in the Connect form below and someone will be in touch.
Weekly Events
Sundays
4pm
Redmaids’ High School
Sundays are a chance to come together and enjoy time as a church family.
Students enjoy joining with the rest of the church family coming together to sing, hear from God through the Bible taught, and pray to God.
Students find a range of people in the church family from young to old. They enjoy getting to know them more before and after the service. When it’s sunny, we often spend time outside chatting and playing games.
Small groups
5.45pm
Redmaids’ High School
Students meet in small groups after the service. We enjoy food together, open up the bible, then pray for each other.
All because we love the fact student years give you more opportunities to grow in your love and knowledge of how great God is and our saviour Jesus.
This where we want friendships to grow and for students to feel more at home within the church family.
Whether you’d call yourself a Christian or you’re interested we’d love for you to join us.
other Information
Student Connect
Connecting with the wider church family can be hard. So, we want to connect students with others within the church family.
Usually, it involves being invited round for food, maybe enjoying a walk together.
Student Connect is there to help students feel at home in the church family.
Meeting up to read the Bible
We want to help students in their lives at uni. Many students enjoy reading the Bible together with an older Christian so they can grow more and be supported in their life at uni.
Weekend Away
Towards the end of January, we go away on a Weekend Away with some of the 20’s and 30’s in the church family.
We spend time being taught from the Bible about a particular topic or Bible book that affects our lives. We have good food together and students find it great for deepening friendships with other students and others too.
