Older people at Emmanuel Westbury
We have a growing number of older men and women as part of the Emmanuel Westbury family and we love having the full age range together on Sundays.
As well as joining in on Sundays, older people at EW are spread throughout our small groups, and there is a daytime group that some find more convenient.
We have a monthly coffee morning for anyone who is around at 10am on a Friday, and some of us enjoy going to the Coffee Pot meetings that are organised by Emmanuel Bishopston. Lots of our older men and women meet regularly during the week for walks, coffee and fellowship.
Like all members of Emmanuel Westbury, the older people amongst us can get fully stuck into serving within our church family – on Sundays, at mid-week groups like toddlers, and more occasionally at church lunches or weekends away. We love the fully inter-generational feel of all areas of our church life together and hugely value the wisdom, experience and perspective of our older members!
